Fledermaus #1.1 Videos

There are two main ‘set pieces’ that Falke sings (plus a whole lot of ensemble stuff):

Act I duet with Eisenstein (inviting Eisenstein to a party, though Eisenstein is supposed to go to jail to serve an 8 day sentence for public disorder). Here it is from Covent Garden (do they even make sets like that anymore?) with two wonderful baritones, Hermann Prey (Eisenstein) & fellow GSMD alumnus Benjamin Luxon (Falke):

The mini-aria I mentioned previously, “Brüderlein”, which takes place at the party. Falke says that everyone should feel free to use the informal ‘du’ form of  adress  (instead of the normal, formal ‘Sie’ expected at the time). Here, from the same production:
