I’m making my role debut as Masetto in Mozart’s Don Giovanni this evening.
The production is a Wiederaufnahme (revival) which means the production has been done here before. It is not new for several of the cast, and as such, we have much less rehearsal time (but get to watch the DVD of the previous dress rehearsal), which can be a little harrowing, especially with a complicated revolving set as this has. That’s theater!
